The Center for Interfaith Projects is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization, committed to religious pluralism. We strive to promote mutual respect among members of different faiths. While acknowledging our real differences, we believe that we share common values–a commitment to hospitality, peace, justice, love, generosity, and compassion.
The Center supports dialogue and engagement between members of different faiths and those who espouse no faith. We are committed to building bridges because we believe that individuals in different faith and secular communities have much to learn from and to teach each other.
• Educate the community about different faiths and secular world views.
• Increase understanding and respect among people of different faiths–and those of no faith
• Foster cooperation among local faith and secular communities to solve common community problems
• Help individuals in search of a spiritual or secular home to find one
We call upon our fellow citizens to treat each other with compassion and honesty, and to foster an ethical commitment to bedrock American values such as pluralism and religious freedom, mutuality and respect—values also at the core of our religious traditions.
